Video Poker is a popular game that usually will be gambled on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your home computer, using a net account. The regulations are very simple and involve the player trying to achieve the best assemblage of cards achievable in order to win money. In this respect it is much the same as a classic game of poker, without the interaction with any other players. The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands shown on the payout schedule.

Normally, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that experienced gamblers are able to pick the most money-making ones each time.

Once the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to continue on and try to to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that they may have won.
