Electronic Poker is a game of ability – and using the easy combination of wagering technique and mathematical know-how, is usually beat. Take note of the "pay out schedule" shown on the front of each machine, and appear particularly at the most essential information – how very much the machine will pay out for a Full-House vs a Flush.

An advanced video poker gambler will also realise that a "Jacks-or-Better" device – classed as a 9/6 device for paying out 9 coins: 1 for every single Full House and 6: 1 for every single Flush, could be beaten using ideal Basic Video-Poker Strategy. An additional device offering the sophisticated electronic-poker gambler an edge is the ten/six Deuces Wild device. These odds have been established as a result of pc modelling. • In any hand with only 1 card Jack or better, preserve the single great card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand having one pair less than than Jacks, retain the pair and refuse all other cards – unless of course the hand is 4 to some Straight or 4 into a Flush
  • In any hand holding a two-pair, retain both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand with 3-of-a-kind keep the three-of-a-kind and reject the other 2 cards.
  • In any hand holding four to some Straight, retain all four Straight cards and re-draw – unless of course the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is holding a Jack)
  • In any hand having 4 to a Flush, keep the 4 Flush – unless the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand having 4-of-a-kind, hold almost everything since a 1-card draw will not increase the cards.
  • In any hand with 3 to a Royal Flush, refuse anything else and go for that Royal – unless of course the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
