Love to play video poker games? Walk into any casino in Sin City and 1 item you will immediately observe is that the casinos spend a lot of layout space on game machines. A lot of that floor space goes to Video Poker. If you have played Video Poker for any amount of time, you understand that not all machines were created the same. As time has gone by, more and more "specialty" video poker machines have come into being. At this time, I am going to share a few of my Video Poker hints, I hope you will enjoy them.

Hint One: Identifying a decent game

Locating a good game is as simple as observing the pay out schedule. You really want to stay away from specialty pay games that have larger top pay outs, but minimize the lower payouts. For instance, a game might pay a little more on four of a kind, but might pay less on 2 pair, flushes and full houses. Since you will rack up smaller scale pay outs often, due to the probability of receiving these hands, you want a good lower scale payout system.

Hint 2: Wagering Tactic

Discovering how to wager optimally is a must. Your playing plan will, ultimately, determine your typical return and your finishing cash value. Understanding what action to take in a situation where you have, e.g., 2 Kings, but four to the flush is vital. Do you keep the Kings and the assured cash or toss the dice for the harder to hit flush? Playing a great machine with an excellent technique will offer you a fantastic chance to earn cash over the long term.

Tip Three: It is random

Through out the years, I have observed people wager on Video Poker in Las Vegas using all sorts of superstitious movements. Most will only use cold tokens to bet, other will hit the buttons super hard, some will hit the machine with their cash before gambling and the list goes on and on. Every hand is setup by a random number generator. The second you begin to wager, the hand is set in rock. The game will at random select all the cards from a 52-card deck and deal them out.

Tip 4: There’s Absolutely no memory

This is a very important one. Many players think that if they start to observe hands with 3 of a kind, 4 to the royal and so forth that the better hands are about to hit. This is merely incorrect. As explained in pointer 3, the system uses a RNG to create the hands. The machine has absolutely no memory. It doesn’t know that you haven’t had a full house in four hundred hands or that you have just had three, four of a kind hands in a row. It’s probable you could go one hundred thousand hands and not receive a 4 of a kind and it’s very likely to get ten in sequence. The machine does not track, because in the long run, the numbers are a wash.

I hope these hints have helped you blossom as a Video Poker player. False impressions on how the game works can be a whole lot more deadly than simply betting incorrectly. I’ve seen individuals spend (and lose) thousands of dollars on a game simply because they believed the game had a memory and was "bound" to hit. Don’t become trapped like this. Be aware that electronic Poker is just luck and has to be bet on correctly. Now, go have some fun.
